FAQs

Q?Can you handle my project?
A.

The audio production landscape has changed considerably over the years. This in turn has allowed many voice over artists to set up a home studio. Thus most freelancers do not have a production staff to assist them. Let me assure you that my decades of experience satisfying hundreds of clients in the field of not just voiceovers but audio production speaks for itself. This kind of experience should instill in you a confidence that you’ve hired the right talent for your particular project.

Q?My turnaround?
A.

Despite, an increasingly demanding schedule, I can usually turn around urgent work almost immediately and am certainly willing to work outside of business hours if requested. More importantly, I’m known for being a reliable voice over artist. I take great care to let you know at the beginning of our contract when you can expect to get your project back and I always meet those expectations. I take meeting deadlines very seriously and view my ability to deliver on-time, every time, a competitive advantage over some of the other voice over talent in the marketplace. Finally, I pride myself on my ability to adapt. So, if the client has circumstances that change, and needs a different turnaround time, I do my best to accommodate them. I’ve built my business on common sense and customer service, so the vast majority of my clients are satisfied with my work. Check out my testimonials to find out why.

Q?Am I in a union?
A.

No. I am considered financial core, which means I can also work non-union jobs without being in breach of union obligations.

Q?Do I have access to other voice talent?
A.

Sure do. Just specify the voice type and gender and I’ll match your specs and provide demos.

Q?Retakes?
A.

Again – yes, no charge. After I deliver your copy there is a slight fee for script re-writes, but again, I’ll work with you on this.

Q?Hey Joe, can you help me out?
A.

You’re only the middle man. You work with the client and copywriting is a service you provide and maybe you don’t love it. I can ease the pain. I’m always happy to offer suggestions on how to improve the read or revise the script from a talent perspective, and with no additional fee.

Q?Can we discuss script before I read?
A.

Absolutely! Your choice. Or just let me have at it, and if you’d like a re-read, there’s no charge.

Q?Am I expensive?
A.

I’m always willing to work within your budget, reasonably speaking. If you’re looking for the bottom line cheapest price in a voiceover, then I’d prefer you look elsewhere. You will find a cheaper offer. Always remember, you get what you pay for. As a fellow voice talent says, “If you think it’s expensive to hire a professional wait until you hire an amateur.”

Q?Do I audition?
A.

Yes. I Am happy to let you preview my voice with your copy. My clients are satisfied clients. It’s highly likely we’ve not met face to face. That’s why it’s my mission to do all I can to gain your trust.
